Cersaie 2026 news: new ways to explore design with Krion

Cersaie 2026 was the venue chosen to unveil Krion’s new designs, showcased at the Porcelanosa Group stand. This year, the exhibition space was conceived as a living magazine: an editorial concept that brought the pages of *The Edit. 1st Issue. New Collection: Autumn 2026* to life within the... physical space. The settings were first created on paper before coming to life at the stand, transforming trends, materials, colours and textures into settings that visitors could experience. Within this universe, Krion explored new possibilities through its surfaces and solutions for the bathroom, where colour, depth, material and design took centre stage. Emerald Green: a new Krion® LUX model inspired by fine jewellery Emerald Green was one of the new Krion® LUX products unveiled at Cersaie 2026, a design that combines the technical innovation of solid surface materials with a sophisticated aesthetic inspired by the richness of natural materials. Emerald Green - Krion® LUX Its design features a deep anthracite grey base with subtle greenish undertones, enriched by a fine texture of mineral particles that lends depth, dynamism and a striking visual presence to the surface. A mottled, mineral finish that plays with light to create compositions full of character. Designed for high-end architectural and interior design projects, Emerald Green transforms the surface into a centrepiece. Its dark, contemporary aesthetic is particularly striking on worktops, wall cladding, furniture, bathrooms and bespoke design elements, blending naturally with wood, metals and neutral-toned materials. Furthermore, this new colour incorporates Ecocycle® and Recycled Content, two technologies that enable recycled material from various sources to be integrated into its composition. The first of these recycles offcuts generated during the manufacture of the Krion® LUX panels themselves, transforming them into reusable material for new designs, with a recycled content of up to 40 per cent. Added to this is Recycled Content, with a minimum of 5 per cent recycled material sourced from post-consumer waste. Verde Guatemala: an atmospheric aesthetic in shades of green Verde Guatemala was another of the new models in the Krion® LUX Luxury series presented at Cersaie 2026, a collection inspired by the beauty and richness of nature. This new design incorporates Recycled Content technology and, drawing inspiration from the renowned Nebula collection, explores a palette of deep greens through a sophisticated, organic and nuanced aesthetic. Verde Guatemala - Krion® LUX Its surface is criss-crossed by subtle veins and soft, diffused patterns that lend depth and character without compromising on elegance. The different shades seem to flow within the piece, creating an immersive visual effect reminiscent of the density of a mist-shrouded forest or the shifting reflections of the Northern Lights. The result is a dark green, rich in contrast and with a striking visual presence, capable of connecting spaces with nature from a contemporary perspective. A surface in which colour, fluidity and movement combine to create continuous, elegant and timeless compositions. Atacama: warm minimalism inspired by mineral landscapes Atacama was another of the new models in Krion®’s Luxury series LUX series presented at the trade fair, and marks the start of a new design line inspired by the vastness of the white deserts and some of the purest mineral landscapes on the planet. Atacama – Krion® LUX Luxury series With the Ecocycle® and Recycled Content technologies incorporated into its composition, Atacama features a sophisticated base in sand and beige tones, enriched with a very fine grain, stone-like particles and subtle colour transitions that evoke the surface of a wind-sculpted dune. This natural inspiration translates into an aesthetic of warm minimalism, designed to create bright, serene and welcoming spaces, where the richness of the material coexists with timeless sophistication. Eclipse: new Terracotta and Anthracite shades for the bathroom Eclipse expanded its design universe at Cersaie 2026 with new additions that reinforce the contemporary and artisanal character of this bathroom collection developed in Krion® Solid. A range conceived to transform the bathroom into a space of well-being, balance and aesthetic expression, where material and design come together to create unique pieces. Eclipse – Terracotta The collection retains its essence through organic shapes and soft lines, incorporating the new Terracotta and Anthracite finishes, two shades that lend greater depth, character and visual richness to the range. These new options broaden the scope for creativity, allowing the collection to be adapted to spaces with different styles and atmospheres. Alongside these new finishes, Eclipse introduces the Breeze Oak wood finish for the cabinetry, a design that brings warmth and contrast, balancing the mineral purity of Krion® Solid with the natural beauty of wood. The collection is rounded off with three new mirrors featuring integrated perimeter lighting, designed to bring functionality and versatility to the bathroom space: a 120 x 40 cm wall-mounted model, a 220 x 40 cm floor-standing mirror and a 150 x 40 cm model mounted between the floor and ceiling. These elements expand the design possibilities of Eclipse and reinforce its vision of the bathroom as a space for design and wellbeing. Core shower screen: visual purity and maximum customisation As part of our range of bathroom solutions, Cersaie also served as the backdrop for the launch of the new Core shower enclosure, a design that expands the possibilities of bathroom design, where visual purity, technology and personalisation come together to create more open, light-filled and balanced spaces. Core Krion Partition Its clean design eliminates the vertical aluminium profile to allow the glass to take centre stage, creating a greater sense of spaciousness, continuity and visual lightness. A solution designed for those seeking a bathroom with a minimalist aesthetic, where every element contributes to the overall harmony. Manufactured from 6 mm tempered safety glass and featuring the SystemGlass treatment as standard, Core offers a surface that is easier to maintain thanks to its protective coating against water, limescale and dirt build-up. Its hinges with -90°, 0° and 90° opening angles, together with the magnetic closures, ensure a comfortable, smooth and precise user experience, whilst maintaining an optimal seal. Every detail of the shower screen reflects a coherent design language. The compact clamps, the aligned hinges and the handle all share the same rectangular aesthetic with rounded edges, creating a balanced whole where the fittings blend naturally into the space. Furthermore, Core offers a wide range of customisation options, with 8 finishes for the fittings — Chrome, Matt Black, Copper, Gold, Titanium, White, Brushed Brass and Stainless Steel—and 12 glass options, ranging from transparent versions to screen-printed, matt, grey, bronze, Black Mirror or Gliss finishes. Its bespoke manufacturing and multiple configurations allow it to be adapted to both shower and bath areas, even in projects with special requirements. Arrow: minimalist design and continuity in the bathroom space Among Krion®’s bathroom solutions, the new Arrow collection offers a design based on simplicity of form and visual continuity. A vanity unit with an integrated washbasin made from Krion® Shell, designed to create modern, functional and durable bathroom spaces in both residential and hospitality projects. Available in gloss and matt white finishes, the collection offers a choice of vanity units with or without an integrated towel rail, adapting to different design requirements. Its freestanding design allows for direct wall mounting, whilst the large-format skirting and integrated overflow create a uniform and polished look. The range is completed by wall-mounted units in a white lacquered finish with a soft-close mechanism, as well as shelves available in white and Dune finishes, expanding the possibilities for space configuration.

Franchise design: how to reflect your branding in interior design with Krion® Lux

The interior design of a franchise is much more than just a matter of aesthetics; it is the physical representation of your brand identity. Every element within the space, from colours to materials, must be aligned with the company's values and vision, creating an atmosphere that not only attracts... customers but also makes them feel connected to your brand. In a competitive market, franchise design has become a strategic tool for strengthening brand recognition, building customer loyalty and ensuring successful expansion. Interior design is the canvas on which your brand comes to life, and it is crucial that each space reflects its essence in a consistent and memorable way. What will you discover in this article about franchise design? How a well-thought-out design can impact the customer experience and strengthen brand identity. Discover the colours and materials that will make a difference in the coming years and how minimalism and sustainability are dominating interior design. How to adapt the design to your brand's visual identity and how Krion® Lux facilitates that customisation. Tips on how to make your franchise stand out and differentiate your design from the competition. Why is interior design key to the success of a franchise? Interior design is much more than just decorating spaces. It is the meeting point between the brand and the customer, a means of conveying values, emotions and the essence of what a franchise represents. From the moment a customer enters the space, the interior environment begins to tell a story, which, if well designed, will captivate and create an immediate connection with the brand. This initial impact is crucial to gaining customer loyalty and fostering an experience that they will want to repeat. Interior design in franchises: creating unique experiences In the world of franchising, where competition is fierce, the key to standing out lies in the unique experience offered to the customer. Interior design plays a fundamental role in creating this immersive environment. Beyond a simple functional space, it must be a place where customers feel immersed in an atmosphere that reflects everything the brand represents. Every corner, every detail, must be designed to captivate and surprise, creating a journey that makes the customer feel part of something bigger. An interior design that excites will not only attract customers, but will invite them to stay longer, return and, most importantly, share their experience with others. Franchise branding: the importance of interior visual identity A brand's visual identity does not end with the logo or product colours. It must go much further and be reflected in every physical space that represents the franchise. When a franchise's branding is well integrated into its interior design, a deeper connection is achieved with customers, who not only recognise the brand through its products or services, but also through the environment in which they interact with it. How unified design enhances your franchise's recognition Uniformity in a franchise's interior design is also an aesthetic and strategic issue. When each location follows a consistent design, customers can instantly recognise the brand, regardless of its location. This consistency reinforces franchise recognition, creating a sense of familiarity and trust, which is key to fostering loyalty and ensuring success at each new point of sale. This type of cohesive design also facilitates expansion, as it provides a solid foundation on which to build new locations without losing the essence of the brand. Franchise design trends that will have an impact in the coming years Franchise design, like any other field of design, is constantly evolving. Current trends reflect a shift towards a more conscious and functional approach, where customer experience and sustainability play key roles. In the coming years, we will see how franchise interior design transforms to adapt to new demands, always seeking a balance between aesthetics, functionality and sustainability. Sustainable interior design in franchises: the trend that makes a difference Sustainability is not just a passing trend, but a necessity that more and more brands are adopting as a fundamental part of their identity. Consumers are looking for brands that demonstrate a real commitment to the environment, and this is directly reflected in the choice of materials and design practices in franchise spaces. Opting for sustainable materials and solutions that minimise environmental impact not only improves the brand's image, but also responds to growing demand from customers who are conscious of their ecological footprint. In this context, biophilic design has emerged as a key trend. This approach seeks to integrate nature into interior spaces, creating environments that are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also promote customer well-being. By incorporating natural elements, such as plants and organic materials, franchises can offer a space that connects people with nature, enhancing their experience and providing a healthier and more relaxing environment. Minimalism and functional design in modern franchises We live in an era where excessive visual stimuli can be overwhelming, and interior space plays a crucial role in how customers interact with a brand. Minimalism seeks simplicity, but with a deeper purpose. Instead of filling the space with unnecessary objects, only the essential elements that allow the brand to express itself clearly are carefully selected. This creates an environment where every corner has a purpose and facilitates the customer experience, giving them visual and emotional respite. Elements should be as aesthetically pleasing as they are useful. Clean walls, simple furniture and materials such as Krion® Lux, together with a wide colour palette, allow the space to breathe and the customer's attention to focus on what really matters: the experience. Elements such as floating shelves, soft lighting, and surfaces without visible joints are perfect for achieving this style, creating a space that is not only visually harmonious but also perfectly functional for the customer and the flow of the franchise. Trending colours and materials for franchise interiors Warm colours, such as earth tones, terracotta and sand, continue to set the trend in franchise interior design. These tones evoke feelings of comfort, connection with nature and authenticity, creating welcoming spaces that invite customers to relax and feel at ease. In a world full of visual stimuli, warm colours allow for the creation of a calmer and more emotionally enriching atmosphere, fostering loyalty and connection to the brand. On the other hand, sustainable materials are gaining momentum as part of this concept of responsible interior design. That is why Krion® Lux, especially in the Ecocycle® models, is making a difference. This system allows for the creation of solid surfaces incorporating up to 40% pre-consumer material. The process begins with the collection of manufacturing surpluses, i.e. the leftover material from the production of Krion® Lux sheets. This waste is transformed into chips, which are then reintegrated into the production process. Conceptualisation of branding in franchise design with Krion The interior design of a franchise must reflect the essence of the brand in a coherent and authentic way, adapting to the needs of each space and concept. Each environment has the potential to convey the values of the franchise, creating an authentic connection with customers. Customisation of interior design with Krion® Lux solid surface The customisation process goes beyond simply choosing colours; it is about creating an environment that speaks of the brand in every corner. Each franchise has its own visual identity, and the interior design must be an extension of this, conveying the brand's values, philosophy and style through every detail of the space. Krion® Lux, with its wide range of colours, offers the possibility of adapting each surface to the specific needs of the brand. Thanks to its ability to create continuous and customised surfaces, it allows each franchise to communicate its essence, achieving a unique aesthetic that reflects the brand's personality in every corner of the space. How to make your franchise design stand out from a sea of options In a world full of options and competitors, your franchise design must be unique and recognisable, authentically reflecting the essence of your brand. To achieve this, it is essential to deeply understand the brand's values and personality and translate those elements into every corner of the space. Here are some key points to ensure your design is unique and memorable: Know your brand inside out: Before you start designing, it is crucial to thoroughly understand what your franchise represents. What values do you want to convey? What is the story behind your brand? By understanding these details, you can create a design that is not only aesthetically appealing but also tells a story that resonates with customers. Consistency is key to making your franchise truly unique. That's why the design must be consistent across all locations. This doesn't mean that every shop or space has to be identical, but it does need to maintain a common core that is immediately recognisable. Using the same colours, materials, and key design elements across all locations ensures a consistent experience that builds trust and familiarity with customers. The magic is in the small details that make a design unique. Customised elements such as bespoke furniture or unique decorative details can completely transform the perception of a space. Play with lighting to create atmospheres. With the right light, you can completely transform the perception of a space. Use warm, soft lighting to create a cosy atmosphere in cafés and restaurants, or brighter lighting for high-end spaces, for example. How Krion simplifies the franchise expansion process Expanding a franchise in a consistent and effective manner requires not only maintaining a unified design, but also ensuring that each new space reflects the brand's values without compromising aesthetic and functional quality. Thanks to Krion®'s A&D consultancy, architects and designers have a specialised technical team that provides advice and support from the start of the project. This service includes the preparation of plans, technical studies, load simulations and the creation of 3D prototypes, ensuring that each project meets aesthetic, functional and economic requirements. In addition, Krion®'s A&D team offers training and support in the implementation of projects in BIM (Building Information Modelling) software, providing access to customised libraries in formats such as Revit and ArchiCAD, allowing Krion® products to be integrated smoothly and efficiently in the early stages of design. With this comprehensive support, Krion simplifies franchise expansion by ensuring that each new location is easy to replicate without losing the brand's visual identity, while maintaining quality and sustainability standards in all its applications.

Trend colours for interior design in 2026: innovation and style with Krion® LUX

The world of interior design is constantly evolving, and the sociological and cultural changes we are experiencing are having a profound influence on design trends for 2026. As consumers become more aware of the environmental, social and economic issues affecting the world, they are looking for... solutions that are not only aesthetically appealing, but also responsible and sustainable. This shift towards greater responsibility, both on a personal and collective level, is directly reflected in the colour choices for the coming years. Consumers in 2026 will be more future-focused, demanding that brands and products align with values of sustainability and change. In this context, according to the consulting firm WGSN: "2026 will be the year of redirection, where old ideas will be questioned and consumers will demand urgent change in the way we treat our societies, organise our industries and cooperate with our environment." This call for collective action will have a direct impact on colour preferences, as consumers will choose shades that reflect this mindset of transformation and resilience. In fact, according to data from the same consultancy firm: "98% of consumers say that colour influences their purchasing decisions." This data highlights the importance of how colours can play a crucial role in connecting emotionally with consumers, becoming an essential tool in building the identity of brands that promote sustainability and change. That is why the colours that will dominate the 2026 palette will not only evoke beauty, but also convey a message of change towards a more responsible world. What will you discover in this article about the colours that will be trending in 2026? Trending colours for 2026 Discover how to apply the trending colours to your projects The psychology of colour by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe What will be the trending colours in interior design for 2026? In 2026, the colour palette will be characterised by a fusion of warm, natural tones, such as terracotta and earth tones, which continue to gain prominence in interior design. These colours evoke a deep connection with nature, bringing warmth, stability and a sense of well-being to spaces. On the other hand, we will see the emergence of more vibrant and intense colours, such as fuchsia and other shades that will bring dynamism and energy. According to WGSN: " These shades reflect an era of transformation and adaptation, contrasting with softer, more natural colours. This combination of warm and vibrant tones will form a rich and balanced palette that responds to the need for renewal and emotional connection, adapting to both calm spaces and those that seek to awaken intense and refreshing sensations." Warm and natural colours: the terracotta and earth palette that will dominate 2026 In 2026, warm, natural colours such as terracotta and earth tones will dominate interior design, reflecting a return to authenticity and nature. After years of sensory overload, these shades help to create welcoming and balanced spaces, promoting emotional well-being and offering refuge in an increasingly fast-paced world. This change also reflects the growing need to find peace in the genuine and simple and responds to the desire to connect with the environment. This palette works exceptionally well in rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens, where its main advantage lies in its ability to harmonise with wood, brushed metals, stone and natural textiles within a clean-lined architectural setting. In this new collection, the earth tones range breaks away from its rustic heritage to adopt a purely contemporary and architectural character; its use becomes more refined, applied to cladding, worktops, shower trays and furniture to create an enveloping visual continuity. With Krion® LUX, this chromatic approach translates into surfaces that allow the material to complement the design without compromising on the highest technical performance. The visual warmth of these shades is enhanced by non-porous textures that are pleasant to the touch, designed for intensive daily use. Thus, whilst the bathroom fosters an atmosphere of absolute relaxation, the kitchen offers balance and a sense of warmth, ensuring in both cases an aesthetic that ages gracefully—an essential quality in both residential projects and the hospitality sector. Intense and vibrant colours: the impact of fuchsia and other transformative shades in 2026 In contrast to warm tones, more vibrant and daring colours, such as the greenish blue Transformative Teal, the fluorescent pink Electric Fuchsia, the pastel greyish blue Blue Aura, the yellowish amber Amber Haze and the mint green Jelly Mint, will dominate the trends of 2026. According to WGSN, these colours embody the spirit of transformation, driven by the urgency to address social and environmental challenges. Transformative Teal, in particular, reflects an eco-responsible mindset and a shift in perspective on the climate crisis, merging blue and green into a symbol of nature and sustainability. These colours are associated with creativity, resilience and the need to adapt in an era marked by change, offering energy and dynamism to spaces that seek to empower and stimulate action in the face of contemporary challenges. How to apply trend colours to your decorative projects Applying the trend colours of 2026 to decorative projects involves understanding the needs of the space and the emotional impact that colours have on users. Colours not only define the aesthetics of a project, but are also key tools for creating functional environments that respond to the current values and desires of consumers. Tips for integrating trend colours into your decorative projects Applying the trend colours of 2026 to your decorating projects requires careful thought about how each space can benefit from these shades, creating environments that are both functional and attractive. Here are some practical tips for integrating them effectively: Walls: painting an accent wall is one of the easiest ways to incorporate vibrant colours into a space. You can paint a key wall to create a focal point that attracts attention without overwhelming the room. Meanwhile, the main walls can be kept in more neutral or soft tones to provide balance and create a harmonious background. This combination allows you to create interesting contrasts that are visually stimulating without losing overall coherence. Furniture: Furniture is essential for defining the style of a space. In commercial, hotel and restaurant projects, you can apply vibrant colours to key pieces such as counters, work tables, chairs or side tables. These pieces can become focal points that bring character and energy to spaces. To maintain balance, use more neutral or natural tones on other pieces of furniture, such as cabinets, shelves or benches, creating a solid and welcoming base without the colours clashing with each other. Accessories: Accessories offer unique flexibility for incorporating colours without compromising the functionality of the space. Cushions, rugs, lamps, curtains and small decorative details such as vases, pictures or mirrors are excellent for adding colour without making a permanent commitment. They are ideal for bringing a touch of freshness and dynamism to any environment and can be easily changed if you wish to update your décor in the future. Colour combination: the key is to balance vibrant tones with softer, more natural ones. Use bold colours to highlight key areas, such as an accent wall, a countertop or a work table, while calmer colours should predominate in the main areas of the space. This combination ensures that the colours complement each other and maintains a harmonious visual flow, avoiding an overwhelming atmosphere. How colours influence the perception of space Colour psychology, largely influenced by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's colour theory, studies how colours affect our emotions and behaviour. Goethe was one of the first to explore how colours not only have physical properties, but also a profound emotional impact. Unlike contemporary scientific theories that focused on the physics of colour, Goethe analysed the subjective effects of colours on people. According to his theory, warm colours such as red, orange and yellow generate feelings of energy and dynamism, while cool colours such as blue, green and violet evoke calm and reflection. Goethe also pointed out that bright colours, such as yellow, could induce joy, while darker tones, such as black and brown, often evoked elegance. In the field of interior design, this understanding of colour psychology allows architects and designers to create environments that are not only aesthetically appealing but also encourage an appropriate emotional response. For example, in commercial spaces or hospitality settings, where interaction and dynamism are desired, warm colours can be used in key areas, such as counters, walls or furniture, to stimulate energy and create a welcoming atmosphere. In contrast, cool colours are ideal for spaces where tranquillity and concentration are desired, such as hotel bedrooms or work areas, as they help reduce stress and promote relaxation. Neutral colours, such as white and grey, play a crucial role in balancing the space, providing a base that highlights other tones without visually overloading the environment. By applying Goethe's theory, designers can influence the perception of space, using colours to visually enlarge or reduce dimensions, as well as evoking emotions in those who experience that environment. Professional tips for choosing on-trend colours for projects Choosing the right colours for a decorative project is crucial to creating the desired atmosphere, and architects and interior designers must take several factors into account. Here are some key tips for integrating the colour trends of 2026 into your projects: Know the space and its purpose: Before choosing a colour, it is essential to understand the purpose of the space. For example, for offices and workspaces, colours that promote concentration, such as cool tones, may be ideal. On the other hand, for commercial spaces or areas of social interaction, warm colours may be more appropriate to generate dynamism and energy. Think about colour psychology: make sure you understand how colours affect people emotionally. Use these psychological effects to enhance the user experience within a space. Consider natural and artificial lighting: light plays a fundamental role in how colours are perceived. Colours can look different depending on the amount and type of light the space receives. It is advisable to test colour samples in the same environment before making final decisions. Combine neutral colours with vibrant accents: while neutral and natural colours serve as a base and allow other design elements to stand out, vibrant tones can be used to create focal points. Don't hesitate to incorporate colour accents in furniture, architectural details or accent walls. Think about durability and maintenance: Some colours may be more practical for certain areas of the project. Maintain consistency with the brand identity: if you are working on a commercial or hospitality project, the colours chosen should be aligned with the brand identity or the experience you want to convey. Colours should complement the brand's philosophy and strengthen its presence in the space. When integrating the colour trends of 2026 into your projects, it is essential that the colours selected are not only in line with current aesthetics but also reflect the values and identity of the brand. In this sense, Krion®, with its wide range of colours, allows architects and interior designers to create spaces that are not only visually striking but also aligned with the perceptions of the projects. Frequently asked questions about colour trends in interior design for 2026 What colours will be trending in interior design in 2026? In 2026, colour trends will be dominated by a mix of natural and vibrant tones. According to WGSN, trending colours include Transformative Teal (a blue-green), Electric Fuchsia (a fluorescent pink), Blue Aura (a pastel grey-blue), Amber Haze (a yellow amber) and Jelly Mint (a mint green). In addition, terracotta tones and earthy colours will continue to set the tone, bringing warmth and a connection to nature. In addition to these shades, terracotta and earth tones are becoming increasingly popular, continuing to set the tone by bringing warmth and an intrinsic connection with nature. The overall trend this year combines visual calm with a strong dose of personality; the aim is not a constant explosion of colour, but a carefully considered balance where every shade has a clear purpose within the space. How can I use sustainable colours in my decorating projects? Applying sustainable colours to your decorating projects starts with choosing natural shades that evoke a connection to the earth, such as greens, greys and browns. To do this effectively, you can paint the main walls in these neutral shades and add vibrant accents in details such as furniture and accessories. It is also important to consider using eco-friendly and sustainable materials to ensure that colours are not only visually appealing but also environmentally responsible, such as Ecocycle® models. Types of shower screens

In comparison with traditional shower curtains, screens are a durable and easy-to-clean solution, preventing the build-up of mould. But did you know there was such a variety of shower screens to choose from? In this article, we'll take a look at the various options available, then it's over to you... to decide which one best suits your bathroom style and needs. The 4 main shower screen structures Shower screens are categorised according to their structure: fixed, sliding, hinged or folding screens. Select the type that suits the needs of your space and users, thinking about how it will work with your space and bathroom design. Sliding shower screen Sliding screens are ideal for smaller bathrooms, because they don't require the additional space you need to open a door out into the room. The smooth sliding mechanism provides easy and convenient access, making them a practical, very popular option. Our S+Line shower screen is one such example, boasting an ultra-smooth opening/closing system with rollers, preventing any sudden impacts. Fixed shower screen Fixed shower screens are a modern and minimalist solution. Elegant and discreet, they provide the perfect barrier to keep splashes of water inside the shower area. They're ideally suited to built-in showers or anyone longing for a visually clean, open design. Fixed shower screens like our Java series are a sleek solution for your bathroom. Folding shower screen If you want to maximise available space without compromising on accessibility, folding shower screens are the perfect solution. You can fold them in on themselves, freeing up valuable space when the shower is not in use. Simply ideal for smaller bathrooms. Hinged/pivot shower screens On these screens, the door opens outwards, providing wider access and unrestricted use of the shower. They're particularly suited to larger bathrooms, where you have plenty of space to open the door out without getting in the way of other elements. Shower screen designs and installations Your shower screen design and installation will often be dictated by your bathroom layout. Front-facing shower screen This type of shower screen is one of the most common. It's installed opposite the wall of your shower enclosure, making it ideal for showers installed between three walls, cubicle style. Angled shower screen Corner showers are perfect for making the most of your space. An angular shower screen helps to maximise space at the same time as giving you a contemporary and functional look. Curved shower screen Curved screens are another great choice for corner showers, providing a soft and elegant enclosure that combines functionality with standout aesthetics. Types of shower screens by material The material you opt for has an impact on the appearance, as well as durability and ease of maintenance. Aluminium or stainless steel shower screens Shower screen frames made from aluminium or stainless steel stand out for their robust and durable nature, and are a popular choice. These materials are highly resistant to corrosion and wear, ensuring they wear well, even in the most humid conditions. They're exceptionally easy to maintain, because the polished finish prevents the build-up of residue. Glass or acrylic shower screens Glass screens offer flawless visibility and a sense of spaciousness in any bathroom. Generally made from safe and resistant tempered glass, they can withstand blows and sudden changes in temperature. The transparent glass or acrylic allows the light to pass through naturally, helping to create a brighter, more open overall look. What's more, glass is easy to clean and doesn't absorb odours, making your bathroom much more hygienic. Acrylic screens are a lightweight, cost-effective alternative to glass. They may not be as resistant as tempered glass, but are more flexible and less susceptible to damage from blows.
